The focus of this project is to simulate the water behavior downstream of the Storfinnforsen dam, located in the centre of Sweden. Specifically, this will compare a simulation of the water in the curved channel after the bottom outlet to results obtained from hydraulic physical modeling tests carried out by Vattenfall R & D company at Älvkarleby laboratory. The parameters of velocity, depth of water while the gate is fully open and the variable level of water in the reservoir were compared with the velocity and depth parameters found in the physical model.Godkänd; 2010; 20130422 (poovah
