These techniques have been monitored by their general function, feasible environment, target contaminants, removal efficiency, environmental impact, overall cost and compatibleness with other remediation options. Few conclusions are possible to make but a majority of the most efficient treatment methods tend to have a major environmental impact and in most remedy options cost varies substantially.
