This study aims to investigate the relationship between dance performances, created to be shown to secondary school pupils, and secondary school activity. It also claims to investigate in what way the choreographers of these performances use the school governing documents, what the choreographers think about teachers’ view of a dance performance’s relation to secondary school activity and the relations between the performances and the school governing documents seen by the author. The study used qualitative interviews with three choreographers and observations of dance performances that the choreographers had created.
