The microstructure of the chemical coating of zinc on aluminum, as well as electrodeposited nickel coating on chemically deposited zinc were investigated with change of one parameter only-deposition time. Based on the structural characteristics of top coating of nickel, the optimum time for deposition of nickel coating was determine at the same conditions.
