This research aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage, dividend payment, growth opportunity, capital expenditure, and cash flow to cash holdings. This research used secondary data with the population of all companies listed in LQ-45 in the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. While the sampling method used was purposive sampling method, which is overall 145 observation choosen in 5 years. This research used panel data regression analysis method to test the hypothesis at 5% significant and using Eviews Version 8.
