Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2018. This study aims to determine whether the service quality and image of the cooperative has an influence on the participation of members. The basis of this research is because the services and images provided by the cooperative have direct linkage with the members. Participation of members in research sites has a low value seen through savings data and attendance agenda and meetings organized by cooperatives. Then, this study used multiple regression analysis as a method to obtain research results. The results showed that the quality of service partially has a significant influence on the participation of members. Furthermore, the image of the cooperative partially has a significant influence on the participation of members. Simultaneously service quality and image of cooperative have influence equal to 19,4%. The implication of this research result is the improvement of service quality and the impetus to produce positive image of cooperative for member need to be done in order to produce active member role in cooperative.
