O uso das tecnologias da informa??o e comunica??o como instrumentos de incentivo ao h?bito da leitura

This article aims to analyze the main Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) resources currently used to encourage students? reading habit from the Initial Years of the Elementary Education. The study starts from the historical evolution of reading and writing, identifying the contributions that digital technologies can bring to the development of the reading habit, since these are already part of students' daily lives. For the purposes of this study, the theoretical contributions of authors such as Paulo Freire (2011), Vilson Leffa (1996), Mich?le Petit (2008), Jos? Armando Valente (1999) and Pierre L?vy (1993) are considered, as well as the official documents such as the National Common Curricular Base (NCCB) from 2017, the National Curricular Parameters (NCP) of Portuguese Language from 1997, the Curricular Proposal of Santa Catarina from 2014 and the Directives and Bases of National Education Law (LDB) from 1996. About the methodological aspects, it is a bibliographic and explanatory research. This work shows that ICTs are a reality of the hypermedia society and need to be presented and inserted in pedagogical practices, serving as important tools to encourage students' reading habits in a meaningful, interactive and collaborative way.Este artigo objetiva analisar os principais recursos das Tecnologias da Informa??o e Comunica??o (TICs) atualmente utilizados no incentivo ao h?bito da leitura de estudantes dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. O estudo parte da evolu??o hist?rica da leitura e da escrita, identificando as contribui??es que as tecnologias digitais podem trazer no desenvolvimento do h?bito da leitura, uma vez que estas j? fazem parte do cotidiano dos estudantes. Para fins deste estudo, s?o levadas em considera??o as contribui??es te?ricas de autores como Paulo Freire (2011), Vilson Leffa (1996), Mich?le Petit (2008), Jos? Armando Valente (1999), Pierre L?vy (1993) e os documentos oficiais como a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) de 2017, os Par?metros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) de L?ngua Portuguesa de 1997, a Proposta Curricular de Santa Catarina de 2014 e a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educa??o Nacional (LDB) de 1996. Quanto aos aspectos metodol?gicos, trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliogr?fica e explicativa. Este trabalho mostra que as TICs s?o uma realidade da sociedade hipermidi?tica e necessitam ser apresentadas e inseridas nas pr?ticas pedag?gicas, servindo como importantes ferramentas para incentivar o h?bito da leitura dos estudantes de maneira significativa, interativa e colaborativa
