Studies aimed at faunal survey of culicidae occurring in urban areas are fundamental for the control of species of sanitary importance. Culicidae are important vectors of diseases and require special attention because they present a hematophagous habit. In this scenario, the main objective of this work was to gather information on local diversity and bionomic data of mosquito species present at different points in the urban area of the municipality of Cerro Largo, RS.
