The growth of the world population together with socioeconomic development has consequences for the environment. Concern about the negative environmental impacts related to the unregulated use of chemical herbicides causes new management technologies to be devised to minimize these impacts. In this sense, the objective of this work was to optimize the production of a biocomposite starting from the microorganism Trichoderma koningiopsis, as well as to analyze the effects of its application, and to evaluate the acute toxicity of the same using the microcrustacean Daphnia magna.
