Efeito de extrato bruto aquoso de erva mate sobre sementes de oler?colas

The custom of the ?erva mate (Ilex paraguariensis)? consumption is intrinsic of the South-Brazilian culture since the beginning of the colonization of the Rio Grande do Sul State. This behavior generates a chain of product industrialization, also producing a residue, both in the industry and of the own consumers after the use of the herb in the ?chimarr?o (a hot tea drinking using this herby)? making. Disposal usually occurs proximate of homes, carried out in the yard or vegetable garden for purposes of incorporation into the soil serving as organic fertilizer. Until now, there have been few records in the literature on the Ilex paraguariensis effect residue on the development of olive groves. The objective of this work was to verify the effect of different concentrations of the crude aqueous extract of yerba mate extracted from the commercialized product on the germination of oler?colas seeds. The study it was realized at the Federal University of the Southern Border Seed Laboratory and conducted on a completely randomized design, using four replicates of 25 seeds of each crop and three concentrations of the extract (1%, 5% and 10%), in addition to one blank sample. The evaluation was through the daily count of germination, IVG, and seedling length. The regression equations were adjusted in this study by the spreadsheet. The results showed that the concentrations decreased the of germination speed of the four vegetables tested, in addition to it was more visible in the parsley and tomato culture. A lower seedling length was also observed as the concentration of the extracts increased. O experimento foi realizado no laborat?rio de sementes na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul e conduzido sobre delineamento inteiramente casualizado, usando quatro repeti??es de 25 sementes de cada cultura e tr?s concentra??es do extrato (1%,5% e 10%), al?m de uma testemunha. A avalia??o foi feita atrav?s da contagem di?ria da germina??o, IVG e comprimento de pl?ntula. As equa??es de regress?o foram ajustadas por meio de planilha eletr?nica. Os resultados mostraram que as concentra??es diminu?ram a velocidade de germina??o das quatro hortali?as testadas, por?m ficou mais vis?vel na cultura da salsa e do tomate. Tamb?m, observou-se um menor comprimento de pl?ntula de acordo com o aumento da concentra??o do extratos.
