Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Tindakan Keluarga dalam Pencegahan Penyakit Demam Berdarah di Kelurahan Kadipiro Kota Surakarta

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the public health problems in Indonesia. The incidence of dengue fever in Kadipiro Village is 61 cases. The incidence will be higher if the community does not take measures to prevent dengue fever which is influenced by factors of education, employment, knowledge, attitudes, facilities, support from health workers, support from community leaders and availability of information. This study aims to determine the factors associated with family actions in the prevention of dengue fever in Kadipiro Village. This type of research is quantitative analytic with cross sectional. The study population was all families in the Kadipiro Village area, and a sample of 370 respondents were taken by proportional sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi Square Test. The results showed that there was a relationship between facilities (p=0,006), support from community leaders (p=0,048) with family actions in preventing dengue fever in Kadipiro Village, but there was no relationship with education (p=0,36), employment (p=0,905), knowledge (p=0,075), attitude (p= 0,942), support from health workers (p=0,524), information exposure (p=0,925). Advice for the community to actively carry out 3M Plus activities and for health workers to increase monitoring activities every 3 months.
