Pengalaman Hidup pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Luka Ulkus

This study aims to find out and understand life experiences in people with diabetes mellitus ulcer wounds. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used the method of interviews conducted to informants. The research informants were 2 people who suffered from ulcer wound diabetes mellitus selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study illustrate the causal factors for diabetes mellitus, namely the existence of careless eating patterns and lifestyle and genetic factors of off spring of parents who suffer from diabetes mellitus. Changes in life experienced include physical changes, changes in diet and changes in lifestyle. Physical changes that occur in ulcer wound sufferers are physically weakening in activity. The problems experienced by sufferers are work problems where when the sufferer feels busy, the patient's blood sugar will rise. Feelings of sufferers when they know that having a patient with diabetes mellitus feels shocked and sad. Social support from the closest people like the family that helps people with diabetes mellitus to be passionate about life. The psychological impact felt by the sufferer is feeling insecure, feeling sad and making sufferers a lot of thoughts
