Kesejahteraan Spiritual pada Lansia Persatuan Wredhatama Republik Indonesia

Surveys conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics show that the elderly population in Indonesia is increasing every year, the total population of the elderly causes problems that need to be addressed. Most elderly people have difficulties in their efforts to overcome the aging process, this causes them to feel sorry for their old days and cannot enjoy old age. the elderly tend to experience depression if they are not optimally involved in any activity will face problems that arise later on. There needs to be a spiritual understanding to help the elderly reach their potential and improve their quality of life. The purpose of this study was to understand the problems faced by the elderly and to describe in depth the description of aspects of spiritual well-being. The subjects of this study were 10 elderly people who had full-time employment and participated in PWRI activities. The method of collecting data in this study was a semi-structured interview. The results of this study indicate that the well-being of the elderly is obtained through activities closer to God so that it can help improve life opportunities and quality of life and life satisfaction in the elderly, in addition family and community support can improve the spirit and passion of the elderly. The elderly have a mature spiritual well-being that will help informants to face reality, play an active role in life, and understand the meaning and purpose of its existence in the world
