This study aims to determine changes in physical and mechanical characteristics in the result welding of the series 6061 aluminum friction stir welding (FSW), which is given normalizing and annealing heat treatment. This research uses aluminum plate 6061 series size 150 × 50 × 30 mm. Welding use the friction stir welding (FSW) method with rotation welding parameters tool 1500 rpm and feedrate 60 mm / minute, then heat treatment normalizing and annealing on term 〖415〗^°C with holding time of 2 hours.
