Pembuatan Pulp dari Limbah Sabut Kelapa Muda dengan Metode Organosolv Menggunakan Pemanas Microwave

Coconut husk is one of waste (waste). Coconut husk can also be used as raw material for making pulp, because it contains about 26.6% cellulose that can be used as a pulp manufacture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ethanol concentration and cooking time on the effect of decreased lignin levels. Variables used in organosolv process using cooking time 30,60,90 minute with concentration of solution 5%, 10%, 15% and at microwave level 300 and 450 W. The result showed that making pulp using organosolv process yield more lignin low ie 0.90%. The lower the pulp lignin level the better
