Pemaknaan Cinta Pada Pasangan Suami Istri Penyandang Difabel Tunadaksa

Love is a feeling of love that humans have and need each other in interpersonal relationships. Ideal love is love that has a component of passion, intimacy and commitment that is in it in the appropriate proportion at a certain time. Couples with disabilities are individuals who decide to learn to live with a person who has a disability as a husband or wife in a household life. This study aims to (1) describe the meaning of love in disabled couples; (2) explain the influencing factors; (3) as well as strategies for maintaining marriage commitments for disabled couples. This study uses a descriptive-phenomenon approach, data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. There were 2 pairs of research informants, one of whom was a pair of disabled people with disabilities viewed from the evidence of marital status and observations made by researchers. This informant was chosen based on purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is the theme analysis technique. The results showed that (1) the couple interpreted love as a source of enthusiasm in working to meet the needs of the family, love as a way to learn more patiently, maintain mutual trust, help each other not think about themselves, question the lack of partners, love makes someone willing to do anything to be with loved ones; (2) Factors that influence the commitment of a spouse are children, the age of marriage, the acceptance of a partner and the attitude of a hard worker; (3) The couple's strategy in maintaining the commitment of the marriage with openness, intense to the couple, making the house feel comfortable, not demanding, not idle, thinking about the situation of the children
