Abstract: At an interval of approximately 25 years after the end of Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation tried to reestablish its hegemony in the Post Soviet spaces. Since 2000, the Russian policy has become offensive for reinstating the status of power in its near neighborhood as a Russian sphere of influence. The new forms of government from the Community of Independent States (CSI) in particular those from Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine represent a threat to its security as well as an obstacle to its hegemonic tendencies.
