Aeroelastic analyses are an essential part of aeronautical projects. To avoid catastrophes, it is necessary to know if aeroelastic phenomena like flutter are present in the flight envelope. For that, it is common to use NASTRAN. It applies Double Lattice Method as aerodynamic solver. However, this method might not be the most appropriate one aerodynamically and CFD can achieve better results.
