Production of the urban space in Ituiutaba-MG: a study on the development of the commercial activity and of services in habitational groups of the sector east

To the we analyze the commercial activities understood that possess a fundamental paper in the production of the urban space. The amount of goods and services that the city offers interfere, for instance, in the level of centrality inter and intra-urban. In that context, a complex space configuration is observed before dynamics as the production of habitational groups of great load in outlying areas of the cities. This process has been enlarging the distances to be traveled inside of the cities, generating in many cases a great demand for trade and services in these new populous neighborhoods of the periphery. In this context, this work has as objective analyzes the transformations happened in the extent of the development of the commercial activity and of services in the city of Ituiutaba-mg starting from the current modifications of the implantation of new habitational groups in the last years, taking as territorial cutting of analysis the section east. For so much, we opted to analyze the section east of the city, in an area constituted by five habitational groups implanted in the extent of My Program My Casa Vida, in which understands the strip 1 of the Program being families of low income that receive R$1.800,00, being them: Nadime Derze I and II, Canaã I and II and Buritis. For the development of this research, we ruled ourselves in a group of methodological procedures that consisted in: the) bibliographical rising and reading of texts whose themes link with the researched theme; b) rising of data and information on the urban space of Ituiutaba, the implantation of new neighborhoods and the development of new commercial areas; c) organization and analysis of the data and lifted up information, being included the mapping and use of pictures for better representation of the analyzed dynamics. The results of the research demonstrate that the reallocation of great population contingent for these new outlying neighborhoods, through the habitational politics, has been generating an expressive demand in relation to the trade and services in these areas. Added that, the location of these new neighborhoods, in distant areas of the main center, it has been hindering the access to certain commercial establishments and of services of the central area. That has been contributing to the development of the commercial activity in these new neighborhoods, configuring an axis of concentration of establishments besides for the service of the local residents' demand, what demonstrates important modifications in the structuring of the city of Ituiutaba.CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e TecnológicoTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)Ao analisarmos as atividades comerciais entendemos que possuem um papel fundamental na produção do espaço urbano. Nesse contexto, observa-se uma complexa configuração espacial diante de dinâmicas como a produção de conjuntos habitacionais de grande porte em áreas periféricas das cidades. Este processo tem ampliado as distâncias a serem percorridas dentro das cidades, gerando em muitos casos uma grande demanda por comércio e serviços nestes novos bairros populosos da periferia. Neste contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as transformações ocorridas no âmbito do desenvolvimento da atividade comercial e de serviços na cidade de Ituiutaba-MG a partir das modificações decorrentes da implantação de novos conjuntos habitacionais nos últimos anos, tomando como recorte territorial de análise o setor leste. Para tanto, optamos por analisar o setor leste da cidade, numa área constituída por cinco conjuntos habitacionais implantados no âmbito do Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida, no qual compreende a faixa 1 do Programa sendo famílias de baixa renda que recebem até R$1.800,00, sendo eles: Nadime Derze I e II, Canaã I e II e Buritis. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, pautamo-nos em um conjunto de procedimentos metodológicos que consistiu em: a) levantamento bibliográfico e leitura de textos cujas temáticas se relacionam com o tema pesquisado; b) levantamento de dados e informações sobre o espaço urbano de Ituiutaba, a implantação de novos bairros e o desenvolvimento de novas áreas comerciais; c) organização e análise dos dados e informações levantadas, incluindo-se o mapeamento e utilização de fotografias para melhor representação das dinâmicas analisadas. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que a realocação de grande contingente populacional para estes novos bairros periféricos, por meio da política habitacional, tem gerado uma demanda expressiva em relação ao comércio e serviços nestas áreas. Somado a isso, a localização destes novos bairros, em áreas distantes do centro principal, tem dificultado o acesso a certos estabelecimentos comerciais e de serviços da área central. Isso tem contribuído para o desenvolvimento da atividade comercial nestes novos bairros, configurando inclusive um eixo de concentração de estabelecimentos para o atendimento da demanda dos moradores locais, o que demonstra modificações importantes na estruturação da cidade de Ituiutaba
