As a need for lower costs, this research proposes an investigation on a scaling model for irrigation pumping system, using different sources of energy, having as a result the optimum diameter and the pump set power, emphasizing the hydraulic, energetic and economical efficiency, restricting other hydraulic variables, environment characterization and available sources of water in each studied region. The main objective is to find and compare total costs over overhead costs ( investment ) and variables ( maintenance and operation), within the water capitation and irrigation distribution path.
