Use of biosolids in the production of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora hook)

Due to the increase of the world population and the deposition of waste produced in the residences and industries, the use of biosolids in the agricultural activity becomes more and more common, being one of the most sustainable alternatives for the management of sewage sludge produced. Aiming at this work, to analyze the use of biosolids in the development and quality of eucalyptus seedlings produced in tubes. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse at the Federal University of Uberlândia, using the substrate of the company Bioplant® and Biossolid purchased at the sewage treatment plant of the DMAE in Uberlândia. The treatments were carried out in two types of eucalyptus seedlings (CMG, CSP), and five doses of biosolid (0, 5, 10, 15, 20% ) With four replicates, generating 40 plots. Each plot was constituted of five tubes, containing one molt per tube. They were packed in polypropylene trays, yielding 200 cells. At 120 days, the characteristics height, diameter of the colon, root dry mass, aerial shoot mass and robustness index of the seedlings produced were evaluated. The biosolids showed that their use as a substrate increased linear development of eucalyptus seedlings due to the composition of nutrients and organic matter. There was more linear growth in the height and the lap diameter in the CMG seedlings, and there was more linear growth of shoot dry mass in the CSP seedlings.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)Devido ao aumento da população no mundial e deposição de dejetos produzidos nas residências e indústrias, a utilização do biossólido na atividade agrícola se torna cada dia mais comum, sendo uma das alternativas mais sustentáveis para o manejo do lodo de esgoto produzido. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a utilização de biossólido no desenvolvimento e qualidade das mudas de eucalipto produzidas em tubetes. O experimento foi realizado em casa de vegetação, na Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, utilizando o substrato da empresa Bioplant® e Biofertilizante adquirido na estação de tratamento de esgoto do DMAE de Uberlândia. Os ensaios foram conduzidos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado (DIC), em esquema fatorial 2x5. Os tratamentos foram realizados em dois tipos de mudas (CMG; CSP) de eucalipto, e cinco doses de biossólido (0; 5; 10; 15; 20%), com quatro repetições. Cada parcela foi constituída de cinco tubetes, contendo uma muda por tubete que foram acondicionados em bandejas de polipropileno, obtendo-se 200 células. Aos 120 dias foram avaliados os parâmetros altura, diâmetro de colo, massa de matéria seca de raiz, parte aérea e índice de robustez das mudas produzidas. Ocorreu maior incremento linear na altura e no diâmetro de colo nas mudas CMG, e houve maior incremento linear de massa de matéria seca na parte aérea nas mudas de CSP
