Criação da Escola Estadual Professor José Ignácio de Souza 1966 -1969

This research goes in the perspective of history of Educational Institutions and its object is the Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia in the period of 1966-1969. Search rescue aspects related to its creation, which highlights pioneer and commercial importance in shaping public. The research is situaded in the years 1966-1969, as the period of training the first class of the course in Accounting and Technical students interviewed basically come to that class. Looked forward in this period changes in location of the college and its actual establishment with its own seat. Clearly that is the foundation of the Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia is closely linked to growth of the municipality, which necessitated prepare people to assume their duties in the job market is expanding. The work was possible because of the collaboration of many people, students, teachers and directors on the location of sources and even donation of them, such as photos, newspaper clippings, legislation and related materials researched the history of the institution. The school offered all the material available, as list of former students, former teachers, as well as the addresses and phone numbers for them that they were contacted for participation in research as occurred. Other materials had access journalism in Arquivo Público of Uberlândia. Regarding institution had much historical material, but understand that it was not systematized and helped to organize search it for help with the lifting of the historic process of this school so important for the city of Uberlandia, but that was so asleep. The photos that were possible be found with the students contributed to the confrontation of data issued oral and written assistematicamente in relation to the Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia. It was also regard the search seek elements that participated in the life of the institution, but they were with time being forgotten as the key piece in its foundation. The survey counted on the collaboration of secondary works to trace the profile of vocational education in the country and in Uberlandia, the state military, the theory of human capital and its relations with the institution of the Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia. Busca reconstruir aspectos relacionados à sua criação, em que se destaca seu pioneirismo e importância na formação pública comercial. Delimitou-se de 1966-1969, pois foi o período da formação da primeira turma do curso Técnico em Contabilidade e os alunos entrevistados são oriundos basicamente da referida turma. Procurou apresentar neste período as mudanças de localização do referido colégio e seu estabelecimento atual com sede própria. Percebe-se que a fundação do Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia está intimamente ligada ao crescimento do município, que necessitava preparar pessoas para assumirem suas funções no mercado de trabalho em expansão. O trabalho foi possível em razão da colaboração de muitas pessoas, estudantes, professores e diretores na localização das fontes e até mesmo doação das mesmas, como fotos, recortes jornalísticos, legislação e materiais correlatos à história da instituição pesquisada. A escola ofereceu todo o material disponível, como lista de ex-alunos, ex-professores, bem como os endereços e telefones dos mesmos para que estes fossem contactados para participação na pesquisa. Outros materiais jornalísticos foram acessados no Arquivo Público Municipal de Uberlândia. Em relação à instituição havia muito material histórico, mas percebia-se que não estava sistematizado e a pesquisa contribuiu para organizá-lo, em vista do levantamento do processo histórico desta instituição escolar tão importante para o município de Uberlândia. As fotos encontradas com os alunos contribuíram para a confrontação de dados emitidos oralmente e escritos assistematicamente em relação ao Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia. Foi propósito também da pesquisa buscar atores que participaram da vida da instituição, mas que estavam com o passar do tempo sendo esquecidos como peça-chaves em sua fundação. A pesquisa contou com a colaboração de obras secundárias para traçar o perfil do ensino profissionalizante no país e em Uberlândia, o estado militar, a teoria do capital humano e suas relações com o do Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia. A categoria de análise utilizada foi: Espaço (local/lugar, edifício, topografia) apontada por Magalhães. Extraiu-se que o Colégio Comercial Oficial de Uberlândia foi criado para atender de um lado, às exigências do mercado de trabalho e de outro, às necessidades de escola das famílias que se fixavam em Uberlândia e muitas delas à procura de uma formação profissional para seus filhos, mas que fosse gratuita
