Introduction: The admission to an university can originate several changes on lifestyle, causing healthy problems to students and leaving then vulnerable to chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCD) risk agents. Methodology: An observational epidemiological study was made with 38 students, of both genders, after a year of course, using a self-responsive semi-structured questionnaire with questions about sociodemographic, life habits and sleep quality, as well as anthropometric measures were collected and the estimated BMI were calculated. Results: The data revealed that after a year there was an increase on obesity prevalence (+2,7%), smokers (+7,9%) and sleep disturbs (+8,0%); and presented a decrease on the alcohol consume frequency ...
