The application of new techniques for data acquisition, processing and analysis of bioelectrical signals has contributed to the improvement of physiological monitoring. However, in some circumstances, it is necessary to record those data during complex activities, such as running and jumping. Conventional monitoring relies on devices that require a set of cables to connect the person to the equipment. This strategy has a number of drawbacks such as the increase in artifacts and the inconvenient os restraining important movements, hindering the faithful recording of the biological signals.
