Today's society demanding more efficient communications systems that enable higher traffic rates. In this context, many researches are designed to create new systems or to improve existing ones. This work studies the scalability of the OCDMA system applied by phase-temporal scattering (TS-OCDMA) technique, in order to verify the influence of several optical components in the system's performance. Its implementation contemplates several important concepts of optical communications and aims to optimize its operation so that it provides high rates with a greater number of simultaneous users.
