This dissertation is focused on teacher training for the teaching History in Pedagogy Courses offered by Federal Universities from the state of Minas Gerais. The research universe corresponds to nine Education Degree Courses, offered by Federal Institutions of Higher Education: UFMG, UFSJ, UFU, UFJF, UFV, UNIFAL, FACIP / UFU, UFOP and UFVJM. Our question is: How does occur the training teacher education in Pedagogy Courses in order to they act in teaching History? What curriculum components of courses are related to the questions of teaching History?
