This thesis seeks to evaluate how Brazil stimulates the production of knowledge and innovation through the interaction between University, Government and Industry. In light of the Triple Helix theory and through bibliographical research, it is assumed that Innovation is a systemic phenomenon, which does not originate only from an invention in a simple way. There are universities developing research; the industries seeking more specific knowledge and applying it in new products or production processes; and the Government stimulating research through regulation and legal system.
