The Schrodinger equation is the basis of the calculation, using the wave function, which carries the information of the molecule. Computational calculation in the field of chemistry can be divided in two parts, semi-empirical and quantum. The efficiency of the calculations is represented in the total energy of the system, which represents the stability of the compound. The methods applied were: PM6, PM7, Ab-Initio, DFT, DFT-631G and MP2. Other variables analyzed were the GAP of HOMO-LUMO frontier orbitals, the time spent in calculations and the structural distance with the molecule of crystallographic origin.
