A socio-anthropological analysis of emotions in Amour by Michael Haneke

The ageing process is accompanied by difficulties, challenges and feelings related to the end of life. The french movie Amour is an example of social representation that look these issues and contributes to expand the discussions of the experiences of old age and love in the relationship of fragility, dependence and finitude. The aim of this work is analyze under the socio-anthropological view of the emotions and the relevance of the thematic on the ageing process in the search for the updating in the debates on the question of identity, social, biological, intellectual and subjective conditions of this life course. It is used as a methodological resource the association of analysis of emotions with the multiple ways of interpreting social representations. Before this exhibition, the work will be dedicated to discuss Amour in order to understand the social representations of old age in the face of death and its relation with the observations made in anthropological and sociological works that discuss the various approaches in this stage life in their particular contextsTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)O processo de envelhecimento vem acompanhado de dificuldades, desafios e sentimentos relacionados ao término da vida. O filme de produção francesa Amour é um exemplo de representação social que encara essas questões e contribui para ampliar as discussões das experiências da velhice e da vivência do amor em meio à relação de fragilidade, dependência e finitude. O objetivo desse trabalho consiste em analisar sob o olhar socioantropológico das emoções a relevância da temática sobre o processo de envelhecimento na busca da atualização nos debates sobre a questão da identidade, das condições sociais, biológicas, intelectuais e subjetivas deste percurso de vida. Adota-se como recurso metodológico a associação da análise das emoções com as múltiplas formas de interpretar as representações sociais. Diante desta exposição, o trabalho será dedicado em discutir Amour no intuito de compreender as representações sociais da velhice diante da morte e sua relação com as observações realizadas em trabalhos antropológicos e sociológicos que discutem as várias abordagens desta fase de vida em seus determinados contextos
