The play as formation space of protagonist subjects in childhood education: a collective work proposal

This work was outlined from the problem: Why early childhood education has faced difficulties in carrying out their role in the life of the subject, given in a limited way the historical and social needs of children of full and systematic appropriation of culture? Given this, how the play could be inserted in the subject protagonists formation process? While central theme shows the joint of the play and the collective work in building the protagonism of early childhood education. The research took place in a public school in Goiânia-GO from January 2015 to April 2016 and aimed to contribute to the process of collective construction of pedagogical work with the preschool teachers aiming to develop an educational proposal, centered on the play in a historical and cultural perspective. The methodology used was action research guided by the collective work, considering the categories of totality, contradiction, history and praxis. The methodological tools employed involved participant observation of early childhood education everyday, interviews with teachers, documentary analysis of school’s PPP and educational proposal for children's education of Municipal Network Goiânia and seminars with the school’s collective. The research pointed out that the educational work in preschool is of a compensatory nature and, the physical education and the play, even being recognized as key elements in early childhood education, continue occupying a secondary space. The collective construction of an integrated educational proposal, based on the play was set up as the action developed from the research. The actions indicated that the play is a privileged space for the formation of protagonists’s subjects, therefore, must be combined with teaching and taken as an educational axis. It was considered that a work theoretically grounded, collectively constructed and made from a comprehensive proposal of education can enable the construction of a transforming early childhood education. Through collective action, teachers involved in the research showed the capacity of breaking with fragmented and instrumental teaching practices. Therefore, collective work presented itself as a real possibility for the development of a comprehensive education showing that, taken for a common goal, the subjects emerge with greater possibilities for transformative intervention in reality.Dissertação (Mestrado)Este trabalho delineou-se a partir das problemáticas: Por que a educação infantil tem encontrado dificuldades na realização do seu papel na vida dos sujeitos, atendendo de forma limitada as necessidades sociais e históricas das crianças de apropriação plena e sistemática da cultura? Diante disto, de que forma o jogo poderia se inserir no processo de formação de sujeitos protagonistas? Enquanto temática central apresenta-se a articulação do jogo e do trabalho coletivo na construção do protagonismo dos sujeitos na educação infantil. A pesquisa realizou- se em uma escola pública de Goiânia-GO no período de janeiro de 2015 a abril de 2016 e objetivou contribuir com o processo de construção coletiva do trabalho pedagógico junto aos professores da pré-escola visando elaborar uma proposta educacional, centrada no jogo numa perspectiva histórico-cultural. A metodologia empregada foi a pesquisa-ação pautada pelo trabalho coletivo, considerando as categorias da totalidade, da contradição, da história e da práxis. Os instrumentos metodológicos empregados envolveram a observação participante do cotidiano da educação infantil, entrevistas com os professores, análise documental do PPP da escola e da proposta educacional para a educação infantil da Rede Municipal de Goiânia e os seminários com o coletivo da escola. A pesquisa apontou que o trabalho pedagógico na pré- escola se reveste de um caráter compensatório e, a educação física e o jogo, mesmo sendo reconhecidos como elementos fundamentais na educação infantil, continuam ocupando um espaço secundarizado. A construção coletiva de uma proposta educativa integrada, pautada no jogo se constituiu como a ação desenvolvida a partir da pesquisa. As ações apontaram que o jogo se constitui como espaço privilegiado para a formação de sujeitos protagonistas e, sendo assim, deve ser articulado com o ensino e tomado como eixo educativo. Considerou-se que um trabalho embasado teoricamente, construído coletivamente e elaborado a partir de uma proposta integral de educação pode possibilitar a construção de uma educação infantil transformadora. Por meio das ações coletivas, os professores envolvidos na pesquisa mostraram a capacidade de rompimento com práticas pedagógicas fragmentadas e instrumentais. Portanto, o trabalho coletivo apresentou-se como uma possibilidade real para o desenvolvimento de uma educação integral mostrando que, tomados por um objetivo comum, os sujeitos emergem com maiores possibilidades de intervenção transformadora na realidade
