The theme of this research is Environmental Education (EE) in the specificity of the selective collection of solid waste developed with the 5th grade of elementary school. The aim of the research was to motivate the students to participate in confrontation of the issue of solid wastes and for that it was elaborated and applied a pedagogical sequence about the subject. This research is justified due to the lack of specific methodologies for the approach of this topic at schools.
