Profissão docente: representações, sentimentos e práticas educativas nas primeiras séries do ensino fundamental. Uberlândia (1980-2000)

This research had as investigation focus of the teaching work at the first series of Basic Teaching, attempting for the subjective aspects that involve the teaching children action. I try to understand the teachers pedagogical practises, starting from the mental and material world, that is, we consider the representations, feelings, emotions and idiosyncrasies inherent to each teacher and inherent to the real conditions where public schools education occurs. The used and researched sources had been teachers and pupils mothers narratives. They were gotten by interviews, teachers stories collected in two memory workshops and by the local newspaper (Correio). We ve too researched documents as the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Plano Decenal de Educação para Todos (Decennial Plan Education for All) and the Plano de Cargos e Remuneração dos Servidores da Educação do Município de Uberlândia (Positions and Remuneration Plan for Education Servers in Uberlândia-MG). The analyses had pointed to the reflection that the teaching work with children is a complex activity that involves multiple dimensions. These dimensions are not only based on rationality, but they surpass the reason redoubts, provoking in the teacher practical reactions and stimulated by sensitivity human being.Universidade Federal de UberlândiaMestre em HistóriaEsta é uma pesquisa que teve como foco de investigação o trabalho docente nas primeiras séries do Ensino Fundamental, atentando para os aspectos subjetivos que envolvem a ação de ensinar crianças. Busco compreender as práticas pedagógicas das professoras a partir do mundo mental e material, ou seja, tendo em vista as representações, os sentimentos, as emoções, as idiossincrasias inerentes a cada professora e as condições reais em que ocorre o ensino nas escolas públicas. Foi escolhido para espaço de pesquisa a rede municipal de educação de Uberlândia/MG e para situcionalidade de tempo o recorte temporal, das décadas de 1980 a 2000 As fontes utilizadas e pesquisadas foram narrativas de professoras e de mães de alunos, obtidas por meio de entrevistas, relatos de professoras recolhidos em duas oficinas de memória, o jornal local, Correio; e documentos como a Constituição Federal de 1988, o Plano Decenal de Educação para Todos, o Plano de Cargos e Remuneração dos Servidores da Educação do Município de Uberlândia. As análises apontaram para a reflexão de que o trabalho docente com crianças é uma atividade complexa que envolve múltiplas dimensões. Dimensões estas que não estão somente alicerçadas na racionalidade, mas que extrapolam os redutos da razão, provocando na professora reações e práticas impulsionadas pela sensibilidade humana
