Study of causes, impacts and corrective measures of the rupture of a tailings dam, using the case of the Mariana - MG.

The work will initially be about a study about the disaster of the rupture of the Samarco mining dam, located in Bento Rodrigues, municipality of Mariana. The accident will be explored in order to highlight the main factors that led to the rupture of the dam. Using articles and reports already published, will be studied and explained the set of factors that caused the accident. In a second stage, the incident will be addressed in order to highlight all the environmental impacts as well as the socioeconomic impacts in the region. This study should also serve for the collection of corrective and mitigating actions, developed later. In the third stage, the focus will be to survey possible actions to prevent the rupture of the dam, or at least minimize its socio-environmental impacts, in the event of disruption. In addition, a set of actions will be presented that are intended to minimize the impacts caused after the accident, and possible predictions of reestablishment of the local fauna and flora.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)O trabalho constituirá, inicialmente, de um estudo acerca do desastre do rompimento da barragem de mineração Samarco, localizada no distrito de Bento Rodrigues, município de Mariana. O acidente será explorado a fim de evidenciar os principais fatores que levaram ao rompimento da barragem. Utilizando artigos e laudos já publicados, será estudado e explicado o conjunto de fatores que podem ter contribuído para o acidente. Em uma segunda etapa, o incidente será abordado visando evidenciar todos os impactos ambientais, bem como, os impactos socioeconômicos na região. Este estudo deverá servir também para o levantamento de ações corretivas e mitigadoras, desenvolvidas posteriormente. Na terceira etapa, será realizado um levantamento de possíveis ações capazes de prevenir o rompimento de uma barragem, ou ao menos minimizar seus impactos socioambientais, no caso do rompimento. Além disso, será apresentado um conjunto de ações que têm a intenção de minimizar os impactos causados após o acidente, e possíveis previsões de reestabelecimento da fauna e flora local
