This research was conducted at surrounding of Padanglamp, Barru regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia to understand the geology of the study area. The objectives for this research are to produce an updated geological map of study area with specific dimension of 25 kmz, to identify types of a fossil that present and lastly are to interpret age and depositional environment of study area based on fossil identifications. The method use is geological mapping in order to identify the geomorphology, lithologies, and geological structure. Based on this research, four major units of lithologies were found which are volcanic breccias, limestone, sandstone and intrusion of andesite and trachyte unit.
