Frege pragmaticien

International audienceFrege is generally held to be the inventor of modern logic in its syntactic and semantic dimensions. But it is less emphasized its contribution to pragmatics and even to praxeology. It will be argued that, initially negatively, in order to reveal the specificity of the new logic, and then positively to characterize the process of knowledge, Frege was led to propose conceptualizations and analyzes that have fertilized contemporary research both in the analysis of ordinary discourse and in theory of action. Résumé On tient généralement Frege pour l'inventeur de la logique moderne dans ses dimensions syntaxique et sémantique. Mais on souligne moins son apport à la pragmatique et même à la praxéologie. On montrera que, d'abord négativement pour dégager la spécificité de la nouvelle logique, puis positivement pour caractériser le procès de connaissance, Frege a été conduit à proposer des conceptualisations et des analyses qui ont fécondé les recherches contemporaines tant en analyse du discours ordinaire qu'en théorie de l'action
