ABSTRACT Caring is a central part of the nursing practice. It covers some actions such as attention, care, empathy, communication, providing a positive response, providing support, and intervention according to the needs of the patients and families. Nurse with a good caring behavior could have a positive impact because it could reduce the anxiety of the patient and family. For the family of patient who is in a critical condition, getting information about the patient's medical condition and the relationship with the service provider is the highest priority expected and needed by the family.
