TINJAUAN KUAT LENTUR DINDING PANEL BETON RINGAN DENGAN MEMAKAI FOAMED AGENT

Indonesia’s geographical and geological position in active tectonic plates resulted in the need of earthquake resistant in almost all part of the country. Light buildings are preferable as the most effective attempt to reduce the earthquake load. For this purpose, there have been plenty of light materials to use including for building walls. Foam concrete of wall panel is also an alternative for a similar purpose because it has a lightweight, easy to install, and is a mass-production item. This study aims at finding the effect of stiffener towards the flexural performance of foam concrete of wall panel. This study was conducted at Concrete Laboratory of UMM and Structural Laboratory of UB by making fifteen wall panels with size of 900 x 300 x 80 mm with stiffener variation of fibers, wiremesh, and Styrofoam. Each of three test objects were made into wall panel without stiffener (PD), the wall panel was given Styrofoam on the middle part (PDS), wall panel with fiber (PDF), wall panel with wiremesh (PDM), and wall panel with wiremesh and Styrofoam (PDMS). The flexural test was conducted using four-point-bending method in accordance to SNI-1441-2011 by focusing at cracking load, ultimate load, displacement, and cracking pattern. The result of the study showed that the wiremesh usage (PDM and PDMS) on wall panel resulted in the highest flexural, that were 460 kg and 410 kg, where the Styrofoam was not significant in reducing the flexural strength. Even though when it is compared to the foam concrete without stiffener (PD and PDS), it produces an increase almost twice as much. The stiffness of flexural did not significantly affect the stiffener on the wall where the highest value was by using wiremesh and Styrofoam (PDMS) of 287 kg/mm. The cracking pattern on the wall panel using wiremesh was more fair with a more dactyl bending failure, while the wall panel without stiffener was more britle
