An algorithm which performs the simultaneous online estimation of motor speed and two motor parameters in induction motor drives is presented in the paper. Therefore, speed sensorless control is made feasible. The proposed algorithm is based on a full order flux observer and on the analytical relation which links the error on the stator current to the differences between the actual and the estimated values of speed and motor parameters
