This thesis will provide a complete workflow for creating flexible printed circuit boards (FPCB) using a Voltera V-One system to deposit conductive ink onto kapton polyimide substrates. Beginning at the schematic level, circuits are designed, simulated, laid out, printed and assembled. The design process is fully digital, thus allowing for verification and error checking at every stage preceding fabrication. In order to contrast the performance of FPCBs and conventional printed circuit boards (PCB), the circuits designed are implemented using printed electronics (PE) and conventional printed circuitboards for use as a baseline.
