The goal of this contribution is to present the modular designed test bench with the advanced measurement system for friction systems. The design and construction process and the installation of the measurement system is the main part of this work. Another part of this work is the design of the tribometer for the validation of numerical models with well defined variables such as the normal force, the rotational speed and the friction pairs. The design of the combined brake, which consists of a friction and an eddy-current brake closed the gap to the electro mobility.
