This paper relies on Latin Rhetoric as presented in the book Rhetorica ad Herennium. It is interesting to observe that not only literature becomes influenced from Rhetoric, but also another area, which consists itself in a specific and independent language: Music. German 17 th century doesn't receive Rhetoric influences only in the literature, intending - through imitation and emulation in a language policy programme - the formation of a national language and literature, but also in the Music.
