CMFRI promoting cage farming at Kadamakudy The Hindu dated 2nd March 2019

The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) is partnering with the Korampadam Service Co-operative Bank, Kothad, to promote cage fish farming in the backwaters off Kadamakudy. This will benefit a few hundred families in Kadamakkudy. A skill development programme was organised to train them in the method. It covered cage fabrication, site identification, species selection, feed management, harvest, and marketing.
