Document prepared for UNECE Day of Cities 2019 to describe research undertaken at the Glasgow Urban Laboratory (1) "Towards a city-focussed, people-centred and integrated approach to the New Urban Agenda" on cities across the UNECE Region and published by UN-Habitat in 2017 following the HABITAT III Global Conference in Quito, Peru in 2016 and (2) "Scotland's Urban AGE: Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh in the century of the city" to disseminate findings of the research internationally
