Co-delivered presentation with Stefanie Seibold on our recent publication Censored Realities/Changing New York at the neue Gesellschaft fur bildende Kunst (nGbK) in Berlin. This event was chaired by Sabine Weier as part of an event relating to the Camera Austria book launch of Censored Realities/Changing New York. The presentation focused on the collaboration between Berenice Abbott and Elizabeth McCausland on their 1930s Changing New York publication, and the processes of censorship at play which resulted in the writings of Elizabeth McCausland being considerbly changed from the intended versions
