Polymer composites are materials whose importance and scope of applications are growing continuously. Where permitted by the service conditions, conventional materials tend to be substituted with composites. Another common trend seen today is to minimize or eliminate adverse impacts of manufacturing on the environment. It has led to a wider adoption of recyclable filler materials for composites.
