Objectives: The primary objective of this project was to determine if there were patterns in the selection of contributing factors from the National Fire Fighter Near Miss Reporting System (NFFNMRS).Methods: A factor analysis using tetrachoric correlations was run using 18 of the 22 contributing factors. Results: Using the scree plot to determine how many factors to retain provided 5 factors. Conclusions: X number of patterns of contributing factors were found using the factor analysisM.P.H., Public Health -- Drexel University, 201
