Presented at the 2005 IEEE Electric Ship Technologies Symposium, Philadelphia, PA, DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/ESTS.2005.1524674Five universities have teamed up to develop Remote Testing and Measurement (RTM) strategies and devices to interconnect power system laboratories for advanced, nondestructive testing and measurement of power systems. The aim is to create a largc-scale powcr system laboratory that will be vtrtually connected via the internet and the RTMs. Through such technology, methodologies for testing and debugging shipboard power systems can be achieved and repeated.
