Resection probability maps capture the surgical treatment decision to stop glioma removal for many patients. This quantitates and explicates the extent of resection per voxel in the brain for a patient cohort from a single surgeon, a surgical team, an institute, or a group of institutes. This information may be useful for a new individual patient to make decisions on patient selection for resective surgery or for the application of advanced techniques to determine where to stop the resection. It may be used for surgical planning and postoperative evaluation of residual tumor.
