Listening to teacher´s singing in kindergarten

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create ideas for how teachers can implement and evaluate the use of singing in the development of basic music listening skills in kindergarteners. The theoretical part introduces the singing as a musical art in the aesthetic and psychological context, the specifics of musical perception in preschool age, and the use of singing for the development of listening skills. The content of the practical part is to create a program involving listening to songs that is followed by music activities for children in kindergarten within the integrated thematic education. The implementation of the program is continuously evaluated according to the created evaluation plan. Methods of evaluation include direct observation, observation of video recordings, non-standardized test of musicality, and conversation with children
