The influence of music and the development of musicality in children up to 6 years

The bachelor thesis describes the musical development of the child from the beginning of the mother's pregnancy to the age of six years. It focuses mainly on musical influences, which can be both positive and negative. The theoretical part is focused on explanation of basic terms, such as musicality, musical activities, musical abilities, skills, habits and talents, rhythmic feeling and music memory. The work also deals with the outline of musical activities in the child's life from birth to the end of pre-school education. In the practical part there are basic data about two different kindergartens, in which activities with children aged three to six years were realized. A brief description of these musical activities is also part of the work. The main aim of the thesis is to observe children during their musical activities and to develop their musicality.
